Utah Code § 75-7-605

  • 2025 Estate Planning Codification: Utah Code § 75B-2-602 (effective May 7, 2025).
    Governs: Revocation or amendment of a revocable trust. The statute establishes that, unless a trust expressly provides that it is irrevocable, the settlor may revoke or amend the trust and prescribes the permissible methods for doing so, including substantial compliance with the trust’s amendment procedure or another method manifesting clear and convincing evidence of the settlor’s intent.
